A nice simple project delivering a flood management solution so the S17 Haul Road can remain operational all year round when the creek floods.

  • Clearing, grubbing and topsoil stripping, load and haul to stockpile;
  • Foundation preparation;
  • Remove unsuitable material;
  • Construct a culvert mound;
  • Excavate a trench;
  • Supply and install 2no. barrel 2.4m diameter x 110m long CSP culverts (wrapped and joined);
  • Install a concrete tie down block on the inlet/upstream end;
  • Cement stabilised fill;
  • Embankment construction;
  • Stream training;
  • Install geotextile and rock protection.
