Client: Rio Tinto, Calibre

Duration: July 2018 – July 2018

Works included the removal and replacement of the existing rail formation during a Mine Shut under 50 hours. Works passed through a Super Site consisting of numerous various instrumentation.

  • Removed 850 m of rail formation;
  • Constructed 1.35 km of rail formation to strict levels;
  • Placed geotextile and geogrid prior to sub-ballast capping and ballast;
  • Remediate set of existing culverts with cement stabilised fill;
  • Nil incidents.
