Our first in-pit tailings storage facility. OD400 (DN400) SDR7.4 PN25 PE100 HDPE pipelines were flanged every 40m up until the 600mm diameter culverts installed. The mainlines included 4no. slotted spigot droppers over the pit wall and its benches, approximately 50m. Planning of pipe deliveries on extendable trailers minimised the number of trips requiring escort through the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) pit.
