Works to create a new arrival road and crossover undertaken in the 7 Mile Rail Yard in Karratha; includes:
- Clearing, grubbing and topsoil stripping to stockpile;
- Construction of 5 new turnout pads;
- Bulk earthworks for the construction of 2.6km of new rail formation and access roads;
- Demolition and removal of existing concrete rail level crossings;
- Construction of new concrete rail level crossings;
- Non-destructive service locating;
- Installation of new drainage culverts, pits, lids and headwalls;
- Road sealing;
- Guardrail installation;
- Signage installation;
- Works adjacent live rail lines.
